Providing health and education services to children with disabilities in Central Vietnam

WHAT WE DO

The Kianh Foundation works to improve the health and education of children with disabilities by focussing on 4 key areas:

Special Education

We aim to provide a quality education programme for each child designed to meet their current needs and to provide them with the skills and knowledge to enable them to function as independently as possible in society.

Physiotherapy

The physiotherapy programme was our first project at Hoi An Orphanage and quickly had positive results. Our Vietnamese physiotherapists receive regular training from Western professionals.

Speech Therapy

This is our latest programme, using a combination of Makaton signing, phonation exercises and communication aids to help children with different abilities communicate

Dental Care

All the children in our programmes, as well as our staff and their children, get access to regular excellent dental care from the East Meets West clinic in Da Nang City.
